This is an easy and cheap way to make realistic life belts in only a few steps.

Primero realizamos un bucle con hilo de cobre de 0'2 milímetros ayudándonos de un alfiler, aguja o una broca fina. Tiramos bien de ambos cabos.

First we make a loop with 0.2 mm copper wire using a needle, small drill or a pin. Pull from both ends.

Cortamos el hilo sobrante ciñéndonos lo más posible al bucle.
 
Cut the spare wire next to the loop.

Con un par de pinzas rectas sujetamos el bucle y lo unimos apretando con unos alicates pequeños.
 
Now use straight tip tweezers to hold the loop and press it with the help of a pair of small pliers.

Shape the life belt with a flat file.
